Based on the Library’s collection of historic manuscript cookbooks, Dr Annie Gray will bring the recipes and their history to life. Includes a curry recipe from 18th century Bath actress Sarah Siddons’ own recipe collection.
Tasting samples will be made by Dale Ingram, chef at Sally Lunn’s and creator of their historic menus and trencher dishes. Home of the original Bath Bun, Sally Lunn’s is exploring the reintroduction of old recipes, foods and how they were served.
